Trent Thornley, San Francisco Night Ministry Featured Presenter: Justin Mueller, Regional Chief Executive Officer, American Red Cross Join Justin for a discussion of the depth and breadth of the American Red Cross. He will highlight the diverse lines of service that power our mission, from disaster response and biomedical services to preparedness education, military support, and beyond. Together, we’ll explore how these services connect us to communities every day and demonstrate the vital role we play at the local level. Mueller joined the American Red Cross in 2006 and has worked in various positions within the region, including serving as the Regional Blood Donor Services Executive. He was responsible for ensuring that the region collected enough red blood cell products safely and efficiently to supply the needs of hospitals and the community at large. The Red Cross is the largest single supplier of blood and blood products in the United States and thus plays a leading role in protecting the safety of donors and patients. Justin is a regular whole blood, platelet and plasma donor and has personally donated 245 units of blood products. He is actively involved in the work and mission of the church and enjoys volunteering. He values balance in life and achieves it by spending quality time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors.
