Homebridge is a nonprofit caregiving organization that has strong roots in San Francisco. We have been providing essential home caregiving services throughout COVID-19 and are looking for individuals to help offer in-home assistance to aging adults and people with disabilities who may have lost care due to the impact of COVID-19, but have not tested positive or knowingly exposed to the virus. You can learn more about our organization at www.homebridgeca.org/caregiver.

Nourish Seniors & Adults with Disabilities

The SF-Marin Food Bank is looking for community and faith-based organizations to partner with to deliver groceries weekly to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in San Francisco. We provide the food, program guidance, and enrollment services. You provide a workspace, volunteers, and organizational capability.

Volunteer at Food Runners!

The mission of Food Runners is to help alleviate hunger in San Francisco, to help prevent waste and to help create community. Food Runners is currently delivering over 15 tons of food a week that would otherwise be thrown away. With help from our volunteer coordinator, our paid truck driver and people like you, we can provide enough food for 5,000 meals a day in San Francisco. Volunteer here!

"Volunteer With Us! Home Connect is CTN’s newest COVID-19-inspired program, designed to connect isolated seniors to the Internet and leverage its resources from the comfort and safety of their homes. Senior learners will be provided an Android tablet and CTN staff will connect with the senior by phone, help them through the process of connecting their tablet to the internet, and introduce a remote training tool that will facilitate screen sharing. CTN staff will assist the senior in establishing sound basic digital and internet skills to ensure the senior is aware of how to protect their personal safety, evaluate the validity of various news and information sources, and identify security threats encountered online." Please contact Stephen Minor, Sr. Program Manager at stephen@communitytechnetwork.org or 704-352-2479.
