Allies in Faith: an Interfaith Network for LGBTQQ Youth Summer Summit
Are you a San Francisco-based pastor, chaplain, or other faith leader? Are you passionate about working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth? Join other faith leaders to strategize about LGBTQQ youth allyship that integrates social justice with spirituality. Workshops will cover a range of topics, from an LGBTQQ 101 to discovering the resources your community already has to support LGBTQQ youth in your liturgy, youth ministry, and education programs. Come connect with San Francisco faith communities to strategize how you can embrace LGBTQQ youth for who they are and encourage them to be who they want to be. Registration is free, continental breakfast and lunch provided!
When: Thursday, August 13th, 9 AM-5 PM (Registration starts at 8 AM)
