In these times, when the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream has yet to be fully realized, the San Francisco Interfaith Council in collaboration with the University of San Francisco's Office of Diversity, Engagement & Community Outreach, invite lay and ordained congregation leaders to participate in a half-day workshop to examine the historical role of communities of faith in the Civil Rights Movement, listen to the new voices of those leading today's peaceful protests, and rethink/recommit ourselves to actively and collaboratively reclaiming and exerting our rightful prophetic voice in order to make a difference and meet the pressing challenges of the day.
